Not Liz AI is the creative identity I work under. It is part brand, part project, part collaboration with artificial intelligence.
I’m Liz Miller Gershfeld, a creative technologist and producer exploring how generative tools like language models, image generators, and video synthesis can be directed with intention and creative discipline. I come from decades of experience in traditional creative industries, producing work for major brands, leading teams, and navigating systems built long before AI entered the conversation. That history shapes how I approach these new tools with respect for craft, clarity of process, and a bias toward making work that holds up.
What I’m doing now is building a practice. It lives at the intersection of story, structure, and systems. The work I’m sharing here spans short films, interactive tools, and scripted monologues performed by an AI avatar that looks like me but isn’t. Together, these projects reflect a different kind of authorship and a different way of thinking. This is creative work built through iteration and intention, using systems as tools, not substitutes, for creative decision-making.
What this can become is a way of producing meaningful work with machine intelligence. I’m interested in what becomes possible when these tools are used with care, shaped by experience, and open to change.
You’re invited to explore the work.
Let’s talk.
